The Work Shabdacharcha Contains A Collection Of About A Thousand Words Of Marathi Language, Which Mostly Occur In Printed Books As Well As In Printed Periodicals. Many A Time Some Of These Words Are Mis-Spelt As Regards The Long And Short Vowels In Them. At Times The Meaning Of Some Seems To Have Been Mis-Conceived. This Happens Due To The Lack Of Awareness On The Part Of The Writers As To The Origin And/Or Etymology Of The Words. Now-A-Days Marathi Speaking Students Being Educated Through English Medium Face This Difficulty To A Great Extent. These Words Are Therefore Discussed And Explained From The Point Of View Of Exact Grammatical Form, Correct Writing In Script, Etymological Meaning And Proper Field Of Use In The Language. Having Been Serially Discussed First In Two Different Marathi Daily News Papers, They Are Here Arranged In An Alphabetical Order In The Form Of A Book, Which Can Be Conveniently Used By Students And Teachers Of Marathi Language, Writers, Journalists And Editors.
